Secret Pro can be used to treat acne scarring, other types of scars, textural changes in the skin and to simply rejuvenate the skin as an anti-ageing procedure. It can help with wrinkles, pigmentation and for skin tightening.

We recommend at least three treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals.

For Secret RF or CO2 on their own, a 45 min appointment is fine. If both procedures are being done one after the other, then 90 mins is recommended.

Not 100% necessary. However, your practitioner may recommend some complimentary treatments which will help you to get the best result from your procedure.

We recommend you attend 45 mins prior to your procedure so that we can apply local anaesthetic to make your treatment more comfortable. The skin is cleaned and the treatment is usually very well tolerated. If CO2 laser is done, goggles must be worn.

Yes there is some redness after the procedure. If only RF is done, this only lasts 24-48 hours and a weekend off is enough. If however you have CO2 laser as well, then we recommend a full week of recovery.

Secret RF is safe for all skin types. CO2 laser is not recommended for darker skin types.

Complications are uncommon but can include discomfort, redness, swelling, crusting, peeling, infection, milia, post-inflammatory pigmentary changes, scarring and persistent treatment pattern. Your practitioner will go through these with you and explain how we can reduce the risks of these occurring.
